“I want to provide every woman the opportunity to discover her strength, trust her body, and celebrate its amazing abilities. This is why I plunged into birth work. It is a joy to share my trust in this normal and beautiful process with mothers on their own unique journeys. Each baby has only one birth, and every mom can have a safe and satisfying labor when she feels well supported. An empowering birth leads to a positive and fulfilling postpartum experience. I love to see mamas thriving with their babies. A confident mama, happy baby, and supportive partner knit a family together. A bonded family stays together. This is my hope for you.”

You can do hard things.
I had the pleasure of growing up with a mother who spoke openly and frequently about the joys of childbearing. This greatly impacted my own excitement for becoming a mother. I knew it would be hard, but I could do it! It was my greatest hope- to be called “Mom”. When I became pregnant, I found excellent midwifery care, Bradley Method Birth Instruction, birth books that reminded me of what I was made to do, and had empowering Birth Center births (both boys in the same room 3 years apart!). My mom also recommended attending La Leche League meetings, which I frequented in pregnancy. What a joy to be around moms, babies, and expert knowledge! Having seen new moms mothering their infants, and heard many victories and complications surrounding breastfeeding, I felt confident I understood the mechanics and could overcome any obstacle we might face. This group carried me through the early months of motherhood- in every stage I had friends and experts sharing their experiences with me. It made all the difference for the birth of our family and the journey together. Even more amazing is the significant effect my positive and empowering transition to motherhood would have on my confidence throughout the years of motherhood. These resources- and friends- had shaped my journey so greatly, I wanted to provide the same experience for new moms. I shared with any woman who wanted to hear about the power of birth and mothering a baby at the breast. I noticed early on that positive birth stories were not often shared, so I wanted to be the positive voice for the women around me, just as my mom had done for me years before. I had tiny boys at home and a professional dance career in NYC, but I knew one day I would find my way to birth work. I jumped into Doula training in November 2018 and have found such sweet purpose! In 2022, I began midwifery school and am on my way to becoming a Licensed Midwife in 2026. It is my joy to share all I have learned about pregnancy, birth, and breastfeeding with women and their partners. I love hearing from the heart of pregnant Mamas! Your journey into motherhood shapes your labor, birth, and mothering, and teaches me how best to provide you support. I love seeing women press through challenges and find their STRENGTH!
More about me...
In home.
When I’m not attending births and meeting with clients, I’m at church, walking my Australian Shepherd, watching the sunset over the Pacific, keeping up with my adult boys, and exploring the restaurant scene with my husband. And there is music- there will always be music!
In heart.
I believe you were made by design and there is so much good planned for your life. It is no accident God has brought us together. He has good plans for your birth, your baby, and your heart. The foundation your family is built on is important, and I want to help you make it firm. You were made to birth and mother this baby, you are safe and it is well!
In mind.
It takes a strong woman to surrender to the power of birth. You are strong and able. Pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period were meant to grow you into motherhood. You can do this! You are not alone!
